A second edition of this MOOC took place at the beginning of 2020. Given the success of the MOOC, a third edition with new contents on hydrogen started on March 8th, 2021.
In the wake of the considerable success of the first edition in March 2019 – 26,000 participants from 130 countries and 275 universities and a completion rate of 20% - IFP School, with the support of Total Foundation and in partnership with Fondation Tuck, is launching a new session of its MOOC on the energy transition: “Energy Transition: Innovation Towards a Low-Carbon Future”.
IFP School's latest free and certified MOOC, entitled "Energy Transition: Innovating for a Low-Carbon Future", supported by the Total Foundation and the Tuck Foundation, was a great success. It took place from March 18 to May 6 and had 25,834 registrations! Available to anyone, both online and via cellphone, the free course sought to inform students and professionals alike about energy transition challenges and the innovations shifting this field towards a decarbonized IFP School has launched its new MOOC "Energy Transition: Innovation Towards a Low-Carbon Future" which begins on March 18. Jean-Pierre Deflandre, project manager, tells us more about this new free and certifying online training course supported by Total Foundation and Tuck Foundation. Free and certified, this MOOC aims to raise awareness amongst students, future engineers and professionals of the challenges faced by the energy transition and the innovations in the low-carbon energy mix sector. In an effort to let a wider public tap into its wealth of knowledge, in early 2019 IFP School launched the MOOC “Energy Transition: Innovation Towards a Low-Carbon Future”.
But more specifically it is intended for those willing to gain knowledge about developing a decarbonized energy mix based on both renewables and natural gas, underground CO2 and energy storage, energy efficiency and CO2 abatements in IFP School's latest free and certified MOOC, entitled "Energy Transition: Innovating for a Low-Carbon Future", supported by the Total Foundation and the Tuck Foundation, was a great success.
